This policy explains how PinVault handles information when you use our pin collection service.
Information we collect
We collect account information such as your email address and display name; collection information such as pin details, photographs, values, wants, trades, boards, and verified sales; and basic technical information needed to secure and operate the service.
How we use information
We use this information to provide your account and collection, process photographs, retrieve relevant marketplace listings, calculate collection estimates, prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve PinVault.
Service providers
PinVault uses service providers to operate the product, including Supabase for authentication, database, and photo storage; Render for application hosting; and eBay APIs for marketplace listing data. Those providers process information according to their own terms and privacy practices.
Sharing and sales
We do not sell your personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the product, comply with law, protect users, or complete a business transfer.
Retention and control
We retain account information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for security, legal, and operational purposes. You can export your collection or permanently delete your account and stored collection from the account controls.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including private photo storage and authenticated access. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
PinVault is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version.
